The environmental justice action group of San Francisco, CA, is a community-driven organization that aims to tackle pressing environmental issues faced by the Bayview community. Founded by concerned residents, our group is committed to educating and empowering the community on various issues regarding environmental justice and community action.
As a community-based organization, our environmental justice action group is focused on creating long-term, sustainable change in the Bayview community. We believe that every individual has the right to clean air, water, and soil, and should not be subjected to harmful environmental impacts.
We take pride in our interactive education sessions that take place every Saturday, where we engage the community in discussions on public health rights, environmental protection, and sustainable community development.
Our dedicated team of Youth, Adult, and Senior EJ Street Team members works tirelessly to convey information through a variety of methods. In addition, we also actively participate in local, state, and federal environmental policy decision-making processes. Our team regularly attends community meetings, public hearings, and regulatory hearings to advocate for policies that would help protect the community's environmental rights.
Our team is a diverse group led by inspiring Bayview Hunters Point residents, including outreach workers, seasoned activists, experienced grassroots organizers, public health experts, and environmental advocates.
As such, our environmental justice community action group is committed to promoting and addressing the community's pressing environmental challenges. We work in collaboration with others to transform environmental policies to better serve the community's needs. If you are passionate about the environment and concerned about the direction it is headed, join in on our mission today.
With our team's dedication and the community's active participation, we believe that we can create a healthier, more equitable community for all. Contact us today to learn more about our desire to promote environmental justice.
